That being said, starting in January and reading once a day will get you through the Bible in just under one calendar year, with the amount of reading required starting at a slower and more manageable pace to help you establish your habit and routine before building throughout the year. ![]() That's why the Bible 360 plan doesn't count specific days on the calendar and allows you to make the reading schedule that works for you. Many Christians get discouraged when we "fall off the wagon" in our reading plan and see that we are days or even weeks "behind". This allows you to take in each book in its entirety before changing contexts, while also making sure you don't get in a rut with a genre of writing that may be more difficult for you to stay tuned in and excited about. This plan is meant to get you through the entire Bible in 360 sittings/sessions, tackling mostly one book at a time while alternating between Old and New Testament and sprinkling in Psalms and Proverbs every 5-10 sittings. With that in mind, we have taken inspiration from many of those great reading plans and put together one of our own called "Bible 360". And if you don't PLAN to learn the Bible, most likely you WON'T. The most important thing to know is, reading and knowing God's Word is of VITAL importance. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses and everyone has their own preferences. Canonical, chronological, even reading some of both the New and Old Testaments plus Psalms or Proverbs. There are LOTS of great Bible Reading plans out there.
